was wondering if any of you have fork protectors of some kind, the only ones I have seen are like the rubber ones on dirt bikes,a lot of bikes have them built in like gold wings.if the fork gets hit by a rock it could mark the fork which in time could damage the fork seal.just wondering lol............

Not too bad. Have to jack up the bike so the front tire is just off the ground. Pull brake caliper, front fender, pull front axle bolt out, pull front wheel off. Then use lots of silicone lube and work the boots up the fork until they are in place. I zip-tied the tops just to help keep them in place. Put all back together and torque everything down to factory specs.
I also have ABS so that's something to look for when pulling off the front wheel if you have it. Just an additional part the axle bolt runs through. Nothing too worry about.
