So you like the looks and you like the feel which means you sat on it. Did you take it for a test ride? I suggest you test ride it first and test ride the one behind it also along with the sporty you were looking at.
I'll be pulling my slammers soon for taller shocks (maybe run stock for a bit) and I have the front lowering springs still in the box... and the stock solo seat and passenger pad if the dealer won't work with you on those.

The blue one is a 2013 or 2014 (black fork sliders, non-integrated handlebar clamp, round AC cover) so it probably won't be as sweet of a deal... but it will be a 103ci.
Thanks to "acrviper" and his negotiating skills with the dealer, I should be picking this bike up in about 10 days ...............it is the 96 version to answer the above question
My immediate upgrades will be the pipes (black V&H Shorts probably), aircleaner (Kuryakyn Mach 2 Black), tuner (gonna try the FL-ViED) and seat...........followed by some new shocks
Regarding the seat
How do you think the Mustang Solo would look on it?
Seems to get pretty good reviews from what I can see
Solo rider pretty much all of the time - just want something that looks better than the couch that is there and offers some level of comfort
Oh, would also like to have the tank and fenders sprayed Matt Balck at some point - any ideas on the cost of that type of job?

and to OP id say do it!! i was in the same boat as you not too long ago (literally 2 weeks ago) I was looking at a used 2011 for 10k, with 10kmiles, yours is cheaper with lower miles! If i ran in to this i would have picked it up in a heart beat! whatever your decision may be, do your research ask around, these guys in the forum were really helpful... best of luck~!
