How was the Speed Merchant Preload Adjuster install? Been looking at picking up a set, but doubt my girly arms can get the fork springs compressed again...
Do you have a lift? Or a way to strap the front wheel down? If you can hold the front wheel down, jack up the front of the bike as much as you can to stretch out the front forks, this will compress the rebound springs and drop the main springs a little more to make it a little easier to push the caps down. Or if you pull the forks out of the bike and put it in a fork tube holder in a vise have someone pull down on the lower while you push down from the top, this will do the same thing. Helps when your 240 too haha. Those are on my list this winter also.
