Got my bars installed no problem, however where are the connectors so I can extend the wiring so I can go internal with them. Pulled out about 2 inches of wire from the backbone and nothing. Please help.

Reason: add info
You need to keep pulling, on the 05 it really helps if you clear out under the seat and find the wire bundle and push it up the main beam as you pull from the neck.
Do the opposite to get it back in. Pull the rubber boot/plug out of the neck.
Unless someone before you cut it out, they are in there. Should have about 6-8" of slack wire in there.

The bundle may be zip tied to the frame under the seat make sure you cut the zip tie or you'll break the plugs! Also you may need to pull the bars back off to get the wires in there. Good luck and make sure you don't bend the pins pulling the wires in

Awesome info. Already cut the zip tie, hopefully the weather holds out tomorrow and I can get the wiring done. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Good luck, my 2000 FXDX didnt have any connectors in the harness for the thumb switches, even after I fed the slack up from the rear of the bike. The only connector I had in there was for the headlight. It is odd how HD goes about wiring these bikes. Connectors hidden in frame spars, loop of slack in seat area, no connectors where you actually need them, etc etc....
Just a little rant, I dont vent often, so dont beat me up too bad.
I just did my o5 super. Attacked it with no real guidance. Cut the wiring at the switches and wired in extended wiring and ran it that way. It came out well. Come to find out that there's all that extra wiring. Smart to ask first hah.
Everyone said that mine had connectors in the frame, way inside the neck area even the microfiche showed connectors. Mine didnt have any connectors, and the wire sheathes looked OEM all the way from the switches well into the frame back bone.
