Yeah. But if you shop wisely, I think you can get it for under that.

That's one of the things I love bout this forum. There's always someone willing to answer a question and help out. Like b2inUT said they are the RSD slants made by Vance and Hines. I am using my O2 sensors, it's just the holes for the stock ones on the backside so it gives the pipes a nice clean look. Just a couple things to be aware of though with those pipes. The clamps that come with them for attaching the heat shields aren't worth a damn. Mine rusted up in about 2 months. So I have this nice clean look with these four clamps rusted to hell. I've replaced them with some quality ones since then. I've also given several pairs of paints some personality thanks to the heat these pipes generate. Due to my height my leg position doesn't match up with the shields and my pants wind up with some personality especially at redlights. Usually I make contact at that turn under the air filter and get a nice reminder the pipe is hot. I'm thinking of wrapping them but the jury is still out on that one. That aside I freaking love these pipes.

I'm also using the dynojet powervision for a tuner. If you're unsure about tuning your bike I recommend taking a look at it. It's simple to install and autotunes. May not be quite as dialed in as a quality (keyword quality) shop tune but you can do wonders with it. You can mount it on the bike permanently or remove at will. Tuning is only a few button presses.

As far as price goes I used revzilla. I used them for all my sportbike stuff until they finally started doing cruiser and they haven't let me down yet. Got my air cleaner, tuner, and pipes for around 1800.

Hope this all helps. Any more questions feel free to ask.

You made an excellent choice, bro. The Fat Bob just screams Hot Rod, in my opinion. I also went from sport bikes to the Fat Bob four years ago and I am more than happy every time I throw my leg over her. And your mods so far look awesome!

Great looking bike!

I see you removed the plastic license plate bracket.

Did you just cut it, or does the whole thing come off?

I cut the license plate section from the piece. The brake lights fit into the license plate piece and it all bolts up in the fender. If you remove the brake light piece it has a couple plastic tabs so you can bolt it back in, but they are in no way strong enough for the stress that will be put on them. I had a real genius moment and did that for some idiot reason. It was a 300 dollar lesson right there. The tabs broke and I lost it on the highway. So I went back in, chopped the license plate portion from the whole thing, and put the brake light/fender section combo back in.

Hmmm, thanks. I just took the plastic piece out last night. Sounds like I'll be cutting it and putting it back in soon.
