DYNA Air Cleaner Trim
Hey I'm new to the Forum and just upgraded from a Sporty to a '09 Fat Bob. I purchased a Harley Willie G Skull Chrome Air Cleaner Cover Trim Kit, P/N 27939-08. I'm looking at the button screw that was included (P/N 3494A). I'm assuming it's a hex head screw, but since I'll have to buy some hex head sockets I need to know the following:
1) Does Harley use metric or SAE hex head bolts/screws?
2) Anybody know what size socket I need for this button screw?
3) Should I use some thread locker on this screw?

I think it to be an 8mm? That is the size that came off my '10. I wouldn't put loctite on it but should you decide to use the blue not the red as you will be taking this off to clean/replace it.

Thanks for the reply...Just to be sure, I called my local HD Dealer and the mechanic said all Harleys are SAE EXCEPT the V-Rod. And good point I'll use BLUE instead of RED Loctite.
