I really have hated this damn grey pinstripe on my super glide since the day i bought it...i really prefer an all black tank..is there anyway i could hide or cover this without pulling the tank and painting it...this may be a stupid question but i wanna weigh my options before i actually drop a bunch of cash on a paint job
Ya .. that sucks. That is coated in. Only option is sand and paint. I had some gay *** stuff on my 48 tank.
I sannded the hell out of it and put new decals on and glossed the **** out of it. Cost me 15 bucks. And gave that raw metal look
Go to the local auto parts store and get some gloss black vinyl pinstripe. It should blend well enough that you won't see that stripe anymore. We did that on my friends Superglide. Couldn't even see it unless you knew it was there.
I also did a gloss stripe on my denim black tank on my Blackline to hide the red stripe that was there stock. Here is a pic.

I like the touch of two-tone that stripe gives your Blackline.
PistolPete83 - Do a search for flat or matte black pinstripe tape. You could cover the tank stripe and then add some to the fenders for a similar look.
