I don't see how an A/C only feeds "hot" air unless its sitting their idling pulling air off the motor. And in that case I don't see how any other design can change that unless the air filter is moved completely away from the motor. Can you explain how your design doesn't pull in hot oily air while most others do? And what is it about the 103 motor that makes this such an issue? Not being a smartass. Just asking for a little education and you might even manage to convince other people who are ignorant like me about A/C designs to buy your product. I understand the idea of air flow and velocity and turbulence. Im more curious about the "hot oily air" thing. Thanks.
ROBBIE13 is correct. When we refer to the hot oily air going into the intake, we are referring to how Most air cleaners (including stock) route the breathers back into the motor. This has to be done in order to meet EPA regulations for the Air Cleaner to be "street legal".
Our Air Cleaners route the breathers directly into the atmosphere, which is better for the longevity of the motor itself. It is also better for performance.

Some other set ups can be modified to vent directly into the atmosphere, whether it be with one of our breather systems, or with something you rig up. It is a completely case by case basis when it comes to which ones can or cant etc.
If you happen to find another air cleaner you like better, you can always give us a call or email us, and ask if any of our systems will work with that particular setup. We are happy to help any way we can.
Im going to mess around with my SE Heavy Breather and see if I can come up with something. Its my favorite "looking" design and I like the way it moves the filter away from my leg but I didn't realize the engine vented to it. I just never thought about it but now its probably going to bug me. So thanks!! lol

does anyone know if the dk breather bolts will fit with the fuelmoto intake? I have a feeling there gunna be too big to fit in the holes but id like to be sure

Shoot us an email with the part number and your kind of bike and we will check for you if you like.
Welcome; nice looking Bob you got there! I would suggest taking your time and looking around to ensure that you get what you want the first go 'round, otherwise you'll have a few exhaust pipes in your garage as you "try them out".
First step would be to narrow it down to a 2-2 or 2-1 exhaust. Good luck and have fun. As you'll find, owning a Harley is a 'work-in-progress.' Not something that one ever truly finishes. But it is a whole lot of fun!
