Put you cans in some warm water prior to spraying. Also if you get the optional aerosol spray nozzle from plasti dip or dipyourcar it will lay on much smoother.
Did you find the gloss added more texture? My flat black was smooth, the 2 coats of gloss I have so far have added an orange peel like texture but it's glossy and from a normal distance standing next to it you can't tell
Mine did the same thing.. Black laid down real nice the lots of orange peel on the glossifier and I soaked it. Still looks good. Also I wonder if the the rubber feeling goes away seems to attract all the dust dust sitting in the garage
Yes mines real tacky now. I put a light 3rd coat on. Going to let it sit now for a few days. If it comes out good I'll do the wheels if not will have to try something else. At least this stuff peels off if it doesn't come out good
For anyone thinking of trying the plastidip I'd recommend skipping the glossifier. It's still tacky feeling, doesn't really shine and is not smooth. I think a spray on clear would have done better. It attracts dust and dirt like crazy too. I'll be peeling it when I have time

I have not done any parts on the bike yet, but I did my wheels, door and tailgate emblems on my Titan and the rubber feel does go away. This stuff is pretty durable also.
With glossifier? My forks and wheel are still very grippy and textured. I used it without glossifier and it was dry smooth and much better. Just needs a gloss somehow. I'm going to redo my forks without the glossifier
I got a little crazy with "the Dip" again. I had the primary cover off to change oil and check clutch adjustment SO I thought "might as well"! I also put on my Progressive 412s, so I did the upper shock bolt covers. I think it turned out great. Just need to get the Forks and Tripple trees done!! Have not ridden it with the 412s yet but the stance feels much better. I also added my forwards the other day, neat little trick I came up with ( maybe its been done before but I have not come across anyone doing this) is I took a piece of 1/2" Heat Shrink tubing and put it over the mid control shaft that was sticking out instead of buying a cap. Hit it with the heat gun and stuck the rubber "bushing" back over it. Wha-la Good enough for me!
