Default plugging the bung..

Don't get all excited pigs.....exhaust bungs.
I'm getting a new V&H exhaust with 12mm O2 sensor bungs, I don't need to install the sensors with the tuner I'm using.
Any one know what bolt size/thread to use to plug the bungs?

thanks

If your bike is injected...taking the sensors out of the loop is kinda stupid.

It's probably M12 x 1.25. You can probably get those at your local auto parts store. I ran O2 plugs on my Thunderheader when I ran a Power Commander III. They were M18 x 1.25. I got them at the auto parts store. A couple bucks each, if that.

TIP: Use anti-seize on the plugs.

Are the pipes used? I would have thought they would come plugged.

I completely removed my 02 sensors too

That means you will have plenty of time to call V&H, find out what's in the box and what isn't and then go from there.

I can't remember where, but I thought I read that the HD oil drain plug fit the 12mm exhaust bungs......I was hoping when I posted this question it was "common knowledge" and someone would just chime in and say go get a couple of drain plugs......guess not.
