'07 FXDC side covers
My new black pearl FXDC finally came in. Don't actually have it yet, but I saw it Saturday. I think I'm going to have a problem with the headlight shell and thebattery and electrical panel covers being painted vivid black instead of black pearl and the lack of any kind of coil cover at all. I guess I could just get chrome covers for the coil, battery and electrical panel, but I'm thinkingthat everythingwould look good painted the same color as the tank and fenders. I knew it was going to be like this, so it's not a surprise.
Anybody painted theirs?

Don't think they have those covers available color matched.They haveside coversfor Sportsters, but I didn't see any for Dynas. I may see if I can get an aerosol can and give it a try. I can always get chrome covers if I screw these up. Or pay somebody to do it that knows how to paint.

That just seems strange. Not like HD to miss a chance to sell you something. Even with the custom paint sets the covers are shown in chrome.
I know what you mean though. My bikes black so they blend but I think that black cover just looks a little out of place on the cherry & cobalt bikes.
