Default Headlight Wiring Help Needed

I was installing a fairing and after moving the headlight onto the new fairing it stopped working. I assume I just disconnected some wires that had been crimped together. Here is a pic of how it looks now. The old wiring was pretty half-baked as you can see. Ideas on which wires have to be crimped together?

Here is a pic:

Ya got 3 wires. 1 ground, 1hi beam , 1 low beam. You need a test light or multimeter. Hold one lead to the - battery connection and touch each wire in the harness till the test light lights up. Mark the harness wire that does NOT light up, that is the ground. Now that you know which is ground, in the headlight, that would be the green wire. Light switch on LOW, connect one harness wire to one of the open headlight wires. Hook up the other two wires. If your Hi beam is on with the switch in the LOW position, reverse the last two wires. Hope this helps. By the way, your wires need to be a few inches longer to avoid pulling the apart. Hope this helps.

Use a multimeter to confirm, typical wiring color. Please solder the wires, I hate to see those connectors. Mickey mouse!
White - High beam
Yellow - Low beam
Black - ground
Orange/white - running light

It looks like someone spliced two different color wires together, am I seeing that right?

The wires should be:

black/ground

yellow/low beam

white/high beam.

Find the wires on the harness side, and splice in the length needed using the correct color and gage.

12AWG wire should be fine.

Thanks for the help.

It ended up being:

Yellow > White
Black > Green (Ground)
White> Blue

I'm off to pick up the supplies to clean up that ugly as wiring job.
