Hope someone can help. I have a 2001 FXDWG with a stage 1 kit on it and after driving awhile it blows a little oil out. What can I do? Your thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated.[]
is the stage 1 kit pre 2005? (I don't want to assume based on your bike year).
If its the new design, which came out either late 2004 or early 2005, and you are getting oil... I might suggest making sure you aren't putting too much oil in yourbike.
If its from 2001 - this is a pretty common problem. Use Google and search "harley + oil puking" (without the quotes, but with the +). There might be some help here as well. This topic used to come up all the time a couple years ago, but I never really paid attention cuz I never had the problem (I have the newer SE intake).
my guess would be its the older design. I don't know how to fix the problem, but there are a ton of discussions about this, across numerous HD discussion boards. You might find someone here that knows the fix.
I suspect this thread will get moved to a tech section since it isn't Dyna specific. You will probably get more people looking at it once that happens.
