Might try painting first and that turns bad plasti dip

But at the dealers over the weekend and will also check for a black cover

too expensive... we are only at $20 to do the band, that includes the chem strip, blasting, and coating. less than you would have into it if you painted it yourself with sandpaper, tack, primer, and paint. Powder is not always $$$

Yep – not too expensive after all

However, looking at it last night, it is not really chrome…………….more plain metal or something...............but certainly not chrome as first thought

So I am going to try to sand it a little, prime it and then spray it and see how that goes
