I have been looking around on just about every site, and not one lowering blokc that I have found will work with the Street Bob (FXDB). I am starting to think that lowering blocks are not made for this type of bike.

I believe they are made for the 06/07 Dynas (a few here have them), but they are not recommended, especially with 11 inch shocks. Look under the fender and see the three license plate bolts sticking out under there. Now imagine your poor mom hitting a bump or pothole a little hard. It may turn out ugly. I'm 6'1" and about 210 and I am considering Progressives in 11.5" but am a little concerned with this type of scenario. I have the radius curved license plate holder on mine (same as kpreese's Springer Bob) and the bolts seem a little longer than the stock plate holder. That is why I have been procrastinating on the lower shocks. Look for a lower seat for your mom's bob or have the current one "worked" to get the same effect. Good luck.
Original Junior, thanks for the heads up on the plate bolts.Currentlythe seat is getting worked on, so hopefully that wehelp some also. But I am just lookingfor some more ideas with the lowering blocks in case the seat work doesn't help. If anyone might know who makes the lowering block kit that work on the Street Bobplease let me know it would be great.
I'm most concerned about that right turn. I've been there. Scard the crap out of me when I scraped the first time. It wasn't my pipes, it was my right foot peg[]
Gotta tell ya, I didn't have a good experience with lowering blocks. Didn't put them on my "Bob", but I did have them on my Sporty. I ran them with the stock shocks, and I still bottomed them out. The phender came down on the belt guard and damaged both.
Your mom may not have that problem, but the potential exists. Hopefully the reworked seat will do the trick instead.

Yeah, I forgot all about the belt guard. Phreak is right. Walk with caution on this one. Good luck.
I make then for 06-07 dyna's and 05-07 sportsters, along with older dyna's www.tamarackmw.com
I havn't havn't heard (or had complaints) of any issues with bottoming out but, you will have issues with the belt guard cover hitting the fender.
I try to recomend my 1" kit with stock shocks on street bobs and lowriders but wind up selling my 1.75" kit for these bikes.
I installed the one inch blocks from TM Works today. Really simple, & sits great, & looks awesome. My question was with the washers. None came off my bike, so I didn't put any back on. The directions didn't state where they'd go. If anyone has insight, i'd really appreciate it. I just figured none off, none on.
