My thoughts would be Andrews 57. You will also need a new tuner like a power commander. If it's a reman motor not sure if the lifters need to be updated and if adjustable push rods need to be added.
Right I know I will be getting a completely stock engine back. From what my mechanic has said and according to Harley's site you can pay an extra $450 or so to get the 103" kit put on it when you get it back.
So it would be a stock 103" engine, but like everything on these bikes I am sure there are a couple hundred bucks worth of stuff you have to buy with it to get it to fit correctly or to run right.
Everybody keeps talking about these cams, can anybody recommend any good ones to put on there?
If the local HD shop is doing the 103" kit, as mentioned the Andrew 57 is a good choice, but if you could get the HD shop to install thinner head gaskets to bump the compression up(.030" head gasket vs .045" HD head gasket) then maybe some Andrews 54 or Woods 555 cams would be nice.
