Gas Tank Questions
First off, I am putting an aftermarket tank on a 2003 FXD.
I want a tank with a smooth top, as I am looking to get rid of the tank console panel.
First question: How does the fuel gauge work on the Wide Glides? Where do the wires run? Is there a float inside the tank, or is it attached to the gas cap?
Second question: Has anyone had any decent luck on a tank with a flat top? Really looking for the sleek look, then add a pop up gas cap to finish it off.
