Try the Pan America if its there, if nothing else to feel the engine. Put it in sport mode. Otherwise I really enjoyed the comfort of the heritage softail over the low rider s. I did not ride the street bob. Have you ridden any of the touring bikes? I really enjoyed the Road King special if you don't want a fairing..

Have fun!

Have never ridden any kind of touring bike. Never thought about it until you mentioned it. Now I will. Why not? Been riding over 40 years and perhaps it is about time to try something new.

Be careful you may not want to get off lol! But seriously if you've never ridden one I would start on the road king, its a little more manageable than starting on something like an ultra limited. They are all gonna feel big and heavy in the parking lot but once you get moving they are stable and easy to ride. They will surely have one of each flavor out there to ride including CVO models as baggers are the most popular style bike they make.

Looking forward to hearing what you think of all the bikes when you get done!

Was not able to ride anything today. Rain. This is the second time in the last few years it rained. Will have to find another Demo Day event. I really want to try that Low Rider S. The LR S should have the 117 M8 if you can get a 114 in the SB.

I was always intimidated by the large touring bikes and when I was going to buy my first Harley I considered a 1200 Sportster, but wound up with an '06 88TC Low Rider. I soon added a 2005 Ultra Classic and have had two Ultra Limited's. The Baggers are so east to ride and handle very, very well. Bigger is better, especially on long rides. I really wouldn't want to do a cross country trip on a Dyna...

Same here. In 2014 I decided it was time to go from a sportbike to a HD. Went to a Demo Day event in May 2014 to test out various 1200 Sportsters. Ended buying a 2015 LR in May 2015.

What a difference between my 88TC and a 103TC...the power to weight ratio is awesome and I get WAY better gas mileage with the 2015 Low Rider, than I did with the 2006 Low Rider...

If the weather cooperates like it is supposed to I'm planning on getting about 300 miles in tomorrow heading up to the blue ridge parkway for the day.

It's a fantastic day in NE PA, I rode to work this morn, a 60 mile trip. It was 52° at 6:30a and should be 80° when I ride home. 🥳

The 103 TC is great motor. The 2014-17 LR is the complete package in my book. Only thing I wish it had was a locking gas cap.
