Finally.......
finished the handlebar swap. Fired her up last night.....man I missed that sound !
Also got the 'X' pipe exhaust system modified and mounted on the Z-28, so I now have a choice what to drive on those warm summer days.....cruise on the glide, or zoom in the Z....

sorry about the stuff laying around in the background.....oh and the 88 sporty is my sons. We are changing his bars too. I gave him my stock mini apes so he could get rid of his drag bars too. So yesterday I got my bike fired up, but instead of going out riding, I spent the day helping my son change his bars. All his cables reached ok, but his brake line broke (the old original steel) at the master cylinder. So we are replacing it with a steel braided one. Just having a bear of a time bleeding those suckers out.....[:@] but he is learning to be patient and work slowly. Thatsgood!
