on my 2002 superglide I used a 2000 Roadking rear fender and it fit nicely between the struts, had to fill and drill holes , on the front I used a Heritage front wheel and the front fender is designed to work with the dyna wideglide fender, also do a search for FL Dyna section and you will find all the info needed to create an FL looking Dyna
Any question just hit me up with a meesage

Since my bike is an 02 I went with 2000-2006 front wheel and a 99 and up rear roadking fender, for your 97 I would suggest a front wheel from a 99 or older, as for my rear fender it is 7.25 inches wide, my stock rear was 7.75 so I had to use spacers, your 97 would have a 6.75 - 7.0 inch fender, and old FLH shovelhead rear fender would fit perfectly , but try and get a 99 or older rear fender so that your stock taillight will mount up with no mods
as for the front fender you can use a Heritage fender and cut off the tabs and drill new mounting holes otherwise the fender will sit too high unless you install and FL front end
