Question Switchback Tuning???

I bought my 2013 Switchback a year ago and had a D&D slipon installed before I received it, I liked the slipon but my leg was getting fried and I decided to go with a full 2-into-1 exhaust and a Screaming Eagle air filter and of course that required a tuner. The local HD dealership here in Des Moines ordered the exhaust in like early May and every time it was they're backordered, well this went on until Sept. and then decided to go with a different exhaust and ordered the D&D Fat Cat and Power Commander V. Got it installed and had some popping on decel, talked to HD and they said it's nothing to worry about and since I have no other mods planned that they wouldn't recommend a Dyno. Anyways, we had an early winter here in Iowa so I put the Switchback to bed and we really haven't had nice riding weather here until lately so I'm just now starting to put miles on her.
I still get a lot of decel popping and some also on acceleration, I've read not to blip the throttle on decel as this supposedly tells the computer you're doing one thing when actually you're doing something else. Do I need a Dyno or is this just normal? And if it's normal will it hurt my Switchback? This bike was a 50th birthday present from my wife and I want it to last, she's already dropped $1600 in mods and accessories into it for me and I don't really want to drop anymore into her right now, especially if it doesn't help anything. I just wanted a little better exhaust and to take away some of the heat. Just looking for a nice ride. Thanks for any advice and sorry for the windy post.

my current set up is V&H slip on, K&N air filter and a V&H FP3
and i have no decel popping at all..

your set up is moving a lot more air than mine currently does
so

first thing to do is check for exhaust leaks..
get the torque wrench out and start at the front and work your way back
making sure everything is torqued to specs for the installed system
as an exhaust leak will cause popping

next step would be to make sure they installed correct map
for your setup, check your paperwork and hope they put that on the work order
or gave you a separate piece of paper with what map was used..

OR better yet go here
http://www.powercommander.com/powerc...dl=316&yr=2013

download and install map 15-022-009 which is the correct map for a D&D fat cat 2-1 and screaming eagle AC this way you KNOW you have the correct map for your setup and if you still have a load of decel popping contact their tech support and see what they suggest..

keep in mind though, to get peak HP and torque it really SHOULD be dyno tuned

Thanks for the reply 1HD1C. Do you know how much a good Dyno will run me? I'm hesitant to take it back to the HD dealership that installed everything, but at the same time I spent a lot of money on this setup and they assured me that with just a set of full pipes and an air cleaner I wouldn't need to have it dyno'd. I have the PCV box that they gave me when I picked up all the parts but there isn't a disc in the box so I assume they kept it, can I take it somewhere else to get tuned without the disc or am I screwed into dealing only with the dealership. I still have 1 year left on my warranty and then will most likely go somewhere else for my service needs. I'm pretty frustrated since I was just looking for a cooler smoother running bike and it seems to be costing me a mint to get it to run right. I don't necessarily mind the popping sound, I'm just concerned about damaging the engine. Any advice would be great!

any competant shop can tuen it for you with their dyno as the PC5 is a popular tuner

as for pricing well you have to call around for quotes, prices vary like labor charges from one shop to the next
