Default Cycle visions baggertail problem

So I just got the brackets in today and did a little test fitting .
Problem one
Stock 2 up seat is really hard to get on over the under seat bracket , ya really have to Tweak it to get it bolted on and it bows passenger part of seat up off the fender... Solo seat I can't get to bolt on at all .
The bracket seems too thick
Problem two
Where lower support hooks to the under seat bracket it is touching my side cover and would surly scratch the hell out of it if I tried to ride it that way
.
Suggestions from anyone who OWNS this setup and has had the same problem would be greatly appreciated

I don't use the CV kit because the guy pretty much told me to go F myself because I was modifying my own bags and just wanted to purchase the under seat bracket. He said to either fab up my own or find someone else to do it. Anyways, that's a different story. I built up my own using 1/4" flat bar, putting on the stock Street Bob seat did take some work and ended up breaking the point where the seat tab connects to the seat from the stress cause by the gap between the seat and fender due to the bracket. I know use a Mustang solo or a two up, both work great with the bracket. When I made the bracket I noticed the same thing you ran into with the two arms hanging over and hardware possibly causing damage. So I angled the arms back to flow this the shocks and they clear everything. Here are some pics, these are from mock up, mounting holes have been added and I have been using it for about a year or so, no issues.

That's EXACTLY my problem .... My stock 2 up superglide seat will go on but I have to bow it up off the fender and it seems like it could stress it enough to eventually break it ... I also have stock street bob seat and I'm pretty certain that I will rip the mounting tab off if I force it down ...:.. It really is kind of a shitty design in my $269.00 opinion.
I don't think there is any reason it needs to be so damn thick , I'm pretty certain that the fender strut bolts carry the lions share of the weigh and that's more of a stabilizer ... It really sucks to spend that much $ on something and still have to "make it work".
I don't know if I need to rethink how that bracket works and build it to better fit or modify my seat ... Thought about trying to heat seat pan up enough to somewhat mold/ contour it to better fit the bracket .

I didn't like the way the cyclevisions bracket stuck out in front of the shock, and in the rear where they go around the rear tire, so I designed my own brackets to not be visible except you can barely see the rear bracket, when standing behind the bike. I plan on making some filler panels soon to fill the gap between the rear fender and bag and attach them to the bracket so they won't contact the fender or bags.
The bags are very sturdy with no shaking, are light weight, and fit as tight to the fender as I could go and still use a quick release sissybar. It has since been repainted gunmetal grey metalflake with a full length rear fender.

Ok, I think I got it all figured out , got clearance on battery cover and seat fitting relatively smooth .... Still think I may cut/ grind some of the outer edge of the seat bracket off though , it is pressing into leather on underside of seat enough to leave a good indent , scared with riding it will eventually rub its way through ... Little less material there should solve it completely!
