Quick internal wiring question

When you disconnect the individual wires from the plug connectors for the turn signals and switch housing all you have to do when putting it back together is match up the color coded wires right?

Yes you are correct..
Better way is to take several pic's of the connector showing wire color and location that way you have a record of their exact location...
