I'm with ya . When I first bought the S.B. August 06 I blacked out everything on the bike, Went on a couple large group rides and every S.B. was Blacked out like mine went back to the dealer were the runs started and still all were Blacked out and started looking the Same. Black and chrome always looks good so 180 degI went. Now I have the only Black & Chrome S.B. In my aera.. All Black is very popular in my area everything is starting to look alike...

Wow! Good for you both Trotter and Mrs. Trotter! Hell of a collection you have there too. The more I read, the more my jaw dropped. It's real good to hear your dealership exp. is a positive one. Post some pics soon and let us all know how you both like the bikes.

I can coment now on the differance I also have a 2003 Wide Glide and a 2005 Softtail They all ride Diffrent, the Street Bob handles nimble quicker The wide glide rake is 3 deg in the neck and 2 deg in the trees so 5 deg total, more rake to deal with, Much more streched out. The S.B. around town and day rides is a blast. I spend most of my time on my Old 62 Pan I've been rideing for 36 years It just fits me better.
