If I were looking for a set of bars that would fit my 07 FXD, and I wanted the same dimensions as those found on a Streetbob, what would I be looking for (in an aftermarket bar)? I love the look and feel of those bars. How about cable lengths? Lastly, what about the speedo setup? Since it sits on top of the bars as opposed to the tank, is there a special set of bars I need to look for.
I just got the bike last weekend, and I love it. I knew before I bought it I was going to change the bars to something closely resembling those on Steeetbobs as soon as possible.

Ok mud, there ya go dissin me. Just put the bob bars on my superglide over the winter. You're right, the wider bars probably do look better. I got the bob bars because they are stainless steel and am not sure about the glide bars. If you want to do internal wires glide bars are the way to go, not an option, w/o drilling, on the bob bars. Just used stock bob cables and brake line.
