Thanks - it was a fun afternoon. The bike sits on the front tubes and a large casting at the rear. It would take lot to knock it off the dolly, but I still need to find a way to strap it down.
The hoist involved necessity, invention and a lot of unintended uses. I can't go into details.
Quick response from Buchanan's! I had the spokes laced crossing three instead of crossing four spokes. Relaced and ready to be trued. Threw on the spacers and the discs for a preview. That's one big pizza cutter!

Yup 23" on a Dyna looks pretty good if I say so myself
well done but it is a lot quicker and easier using shaft and not plate and doing it all in the lathe, skip the mill work (making something round out of something square.)
but that could have been done in the lathe too..
cool build though, its handy being able to do your own machining, I've done heaps being lucky enough to be in the trade.
