Maybe just put on a quick disconnect style batwing fairing with audio like a reckless. Cause we all know simply buying a stock street glide would not be enough you would have to change it up. But I agree there's something sexy about the new street glides
I had a mini truck too back in the day. I also build custom cars and sell just about every year. Have had everything from minitruck to 63 impala to Benz and many Porsches. I love the build it's my favorite part.

But yes I ride every chance I get. And riding is why I have a Harley. Trust me my SG won't be stock for long...

And I already have a Reckless Fairing in the way. Ill keep it and sell it if I get rid of the bike. The offer is decent, not killer. But one thing I do know is if someone is willing to buy your build for fair cash you sell...

Yes. Being honest, nothing personal, but It looks to me you modded your bike to almost look like a Street Glide - bagger style.
Just by judging from your pics I'd say you already compromised the superior agility of the dynas by lowering it so much and the choice of bars and front wheel.
For these reasons, although your bike is unique, I'd definitely do the trade and go with the real Street Glide.

but like the other said, do you like mor working on your bike or riding it ?

Custom anything are usually harder to sell and almost impossible to recoup the money spent on them. If you have a great offer and you are confident you won't have seller's remorse let it go.

I have had both and enjoyed both. The weight of the Street Glide will give you a better ride. You will also have extra weight on your forks that you'll feel that in slow speed maneuvering, but you get used to it. Where the FLHX will really shine is on the highway, especially at higher speeds. As far as harder to work on? I don't think so. I think they are more fun to work on. If you have never owed a late model Touring Bike, you owe it to yourself to try one.

By the looks of your FLD (real nice work!) it's time to move on. You are ready for the next chapter. Like others said if you have an offer that works for you don't let it get away. But hey what do I know I riding an '01'

Of course it's your call, but personally I'm sick of seeing Street Glides everywhere. So I'd keep what you have.

Your bike looks great! customs are hard to sell when they are done poorly, like most are. My changes would never impress anyone, but at least I like it and enjoyed doing it myself as a total novice. yours on the other hand would find buyers more easily so I'm not surprised someone stepped up with cash.

Personally I get bored riding bigger touring bikes, but that's just me. I'd keep yours and consider taking on a classic basket project maybe. With your obvious skills you could make it sing and there would likely be big returns when you complete it. Just my suggestion.

But yeah, follow your fun. You can always build something else you like. A buyer like me has to get lucky and find a seller like you so it's a tougher prospect for some of us.

Put air shocks on your FLD and BAM! It's a street glide. A touring bike is just that...a touring bike. The dyna is a cruiser and a bar hopper that can be made into a touring bike. I made my wide glide to be a touring bike that I can configure into what I want at the moment. Quick detach windshield, back rest, saddle bags and a touring seat.
