Maybe you could have said something like "I know this is an old post, but does anyone know where I could find a pair of these? I'm trying to to build a bike with discontinued parts." Then you wouldn't appear clueless. With a response like yours, you couldn't offer enough money to get me to sell you a set if I had them.

The problem with this forum is the stupid related thread thing at the end of
every page. If you scroll too far down and are not paying close attention you are in another thread that can be several years old.
It is stupid and leads to most of these regurgitation of old threads.
