It appears those settings only work on your Computer or in "Desktop" View on Mobile device, but Not in "Mobile" View ... even if changes to settings were made in the "Desktop" View while on the Mobile device

I'm too old to try to use a phone for a forum. What is "desktop view?" I use a laptop. Do I need Laptop view?
