01 fxd saddlebags
Hey everybody,
I have been lurking and reading posts for a while now and finally have come to a question I couldn't find in a search.
I have a 01 fxd and am looking for quick detach saddlebags for it. Problem is the ones I like cost $800 or fit 02 and later models. I know ghostbrackets is a possible solution however I am not sure that I want to go this way. Is there any way to mount 02 and later factory harley saddlebags (such as Harley Davidson part#90564-06Bor 90369-06A) on my 01 fxd?? I dont really care for the big bag look which seems to be the only factory harley bag for my bike. I also loke the boss bag setup, however am trying to avoid the $800 price tag that comes with it (not counting the brackets to make them work.
