Had this worked into my deal for my new harley. Sales person said i needed to relocate the the turn signals back to the license plate are to use it. looking at the picture i can't figure out why? does anyone have this part and can it be mounted with the original turn signal mounts? looks like it should work?
you DO have to have a relocation kit in order to install the detachable hardware but there are TWO separate kits. The one they are talking about is for when you want to mount saddlebags on your scoot. THEN you move the turn signals to the license plate.
The kit you need only replaces the stems that the lights mount on to. It "relocates" them a little further out.

Hey rogue_rob is that your cobalt Bob in the pic? Just wondering how wellthe solo rack fit on to the docking hardware. I have a solo rack on order, and have the docking hardware and turnsig relocation already installed but I havent been able to get my detatch sideplates to go on to the docking hardware so I might try and return the solo rack when it comes in.
