Well done! I really like the wheels! My wife's 03 Low rider has a similar wheels as your ride. I will be powder coating them soon as the season is over.

Yea, the wheels make it to me. Can't beat the powder coated stock low rider mags.
I installed the FXDXT Leather Pros Retro Bags last night and made a run today with them. I could get them a little tighter to the fender if I wanted but I decided to leave my HD quick detach hardware on there instead.
Man, it was SOOOO nice to have somewhere to carry things! I don't think I will ever remove them! lol
Added a front fork Air Baffle today. Basically, its made for a touring bike (Harley Part # 58520-79A ) but you can cut part of it off and make it work for other models. I have seen quite a few post that swear by them and say it really cuts out the buffeting from the wind coming up through the forks and up your legs. I guess we will see!
I am about to install a fairing so I wanted to get ahead of the game, I knew it certainly couldn't hurt.
Agreed, I would really like to get your opinion on that. I have an 07 FXD with a Memphis Shades batwing and the wind coming up my legs and right into my chin is the only thing that still beats me up. Not bad on a short ride but if I make a 250 mile ride it starts to fatigue me.

Thanks in advance,
Doyle
Will do! I will be riding it tonight and then doing a nice 300 mile trip on Saturday, so that will give me a very good idea on how good it works (or not).
