Dyna Air Cleaner Crossfit Reference
I am having trouble identifying what aftermarket air cleaner assemblies will fit my '07 FXDL. One ebay listing says 99-current but I would have perhaps expected a difference between the carb and FI years. Another says 2010 up with the exception of the 11 Softail!
It would be my guess that the Dyna throttle body is probably the same from 2005 to present and may even be the same as the 07+ FI Sportster. Is there some change in TB size or bolt pattern over the years and what is so special about '08 and up?
I really want a 'Ventilator' style air cleaner assembly over my OEM football. I shaved the sides off my Sportster's SE ham can to fully expose the K&N filter element and really liked the look. Why wouldn't say a 2014 Ventilator bolt up?
PS: Harleys need ham cans, not footballs!
