Default D&d Fat Cat installed

Took a couple of hours just trying to be careful not to scratch it and making sure everything fit correctly....and drinking a few beers, and coke and whiskey. I loooove the sound. I finished around 3am and decided to wake up the entire west side of town. It's LOUD when you get on it and at idle it goes put put put put. I love it and couldn't be happier with it. My only gripe is that the rear header heat shield touched the mid control brake pedal. It just barely makes contact and I don't think affects anything. Oh, the front header had a bolt in the o2 bung and it was stripped so I had to clean it up with a thread chaser. No big deal but for $1000 delivered, I expected more. It was wrapped and packaged very well though. Anyway, a couple shots.

I've had a chrome Fat Cat on the bike for a few years now and like it a lot. Your bike with the black Fat Cat looks like it means business. Nice job!

Glad you got yours, when I ordered mine I was told I would receive in 2-3 weeks - after 6, I was told that it would be another 2 weeks to get the material to build them, a week to fabricate & powder coat them, then another week to receive them.
I canceled the order and went with the Basanni's - happy with my decision

Now I need an air cleaner and a tuner. I was looking at the power commander v, would anyone recommend it? Just looking to safely run intake and exhaust and get some more power if possible. Or would harley dyno tune be better?

Edit- actually, I plan on staying with stage 1 for a while so a vance and hines for should do the trick huh? Kinda cool you can use an app with it on your phone. Price is decent also.

They said the same thing to me. Said it would be 4 weeks and they would call me before charging my card. After 2 weeks they charged my card without calling me first. No biggie, I was glad to have it so soon. I figured they would be a bit more professional though when their products costs as much as they do, and in my case were less than 100%.
