So, I've started another thread before talking about where to go next for power on my 103 Dyna, and so far the fuel moto 107 kit is really talking to me. BUT went to the dealer and they are trying to talk me into Screaming Eagle kit stage 3 or 4.. Not sure I really like either of them. Does anyone have either kit and what do they think of it? I talked to a tech at fuel moto and they claim the throttle body doesn't need changed, yet that's one of the upgrades in the stage four from SE along with injectors. So, it leads me to confusion. Who's right and who's wrong? Trying to get the best while not spending a sh-load, and the stage four is about 2g's and I also already have a PV through fuel moto so I have free tunes, which leads me to think they are the better option
Do you think the difference between 103 and 107 will be much at all? I can't see it myself.
If I was going to go for more inches, I would go 120 or something like that. Just seems a lot of work for 4 more cubic inches. I do get that 107 is about as big as you can go without major surgery though.
I will however do the cams and heads on my 103 over the winter and expect to see big improvements there. Thinking about a bigger throttle body as well, maybe coupled with uprated ignition. I don't know if you have decent cams and gas flowed heads already though.
I hadn't thought about injectors though - not sure if that would be a significant improvement or not....
Keep it a 103", send your heads out to get ported by someone reputable, choose the right set of cams, and maybe bump the compression up a bit with thinner head gaskets. As long as you have decent exhaust this should get you to around 100hp/110tq.
It's not a bad price consideringit's all harley and carries a warranty, but my fuel moto stage II 107 gives me higher #'s than those. My buddy's 107 stage IV pushes out 129 HP and 125 TQ
My spec says 105/109 but that was when my clutch was slipping due to not enough clutch spring power. ( Istill had the stock spring!)
Did the dealer give you a quote for installation?

Reason: fixed correction!
I ride with four mates who have the SE stge4 race kiit, do a lot of kms, loaded, 2-up whatever, or go hard on day trips, just put one in my wide glide also, everybody happy with them
Here in Aus there not alot of engine machine shops/builders so its either send stuff away or use this kit,
The throttle body and injectors not a big deal, works, bolt it on and off you go
I reckon as an upgrade to a stock bike (or stage 1 without tuner) its a pretty good price as tuner in package, i sold the tuner that came with mine as already have PV for dynojet gave me a map
Thanks

Dealer quoted four hours of time for fuel moto kit because I told them it didn't need any dyno time. So it could be wrong.. Who knows. I just want the best performance possible
