mite want to check out that new e series 2 into 1 from fuel moto that exhaust made great torque and was the go to pipe years back for performance. waiting myself to see how its going to perform and sound. love my thunderheader but with a better pipe I know there is some more torque in there to be had.
Best for what? Top end; torgue; mid-range; looks; sound, or cornering clearance? V&H Pro-pipe is a good performance pipe but has clearance issues ( kinda fugly 2); some of the shorter Bassani's make great top-end with not so great torque. I'm running one of the long Bassani's- good top-end and mid-range with excellent clearance, but has a short dip in the torque curve right about 3K.
I love my d&d fat cat. Dunno about numbers just yet but it feels great and looks and sounds awesome. My buddy's stage 1 96ci with rsd slant 2 into 1 rips real good. Lots of torque.
I went with dual exhaust in the end, but was looking at 2 into 1 for a while. Bassani Road Rage would be my pick - supposed to be performing really well, sounds good and looks quite good too. V&H/RSD Slant is also interesting, although may not look good on some bikes.
Since I have one I'll chime in with the supertrapp supermeg. They are not too loud but scream when I get on it. Alot of tuning people love the S-meg because they can be set for maximum torque using the discs, then it's up to your tuner to dial the HP.
That being said Target is right, there is a new product about to come out from fuelmoto which should be killer!
