I don't think so. I was at a memorial ride Saturday and this custom bobber went for $22,800...and the bottle of whiskey she's holding went for $880. But it was for a very good cause.
Then again when it comes to antiques I prefer restored originals (bikes and cars) to customs.
I know that boat tail rear fender is an iconic design moment for HD...but I've always considered it without exception to be the absolutely butt-fugliest fender in the history of motorcycling.

There is no better judge of the market, except that you should add about 10% to anything sold on eBay. So if anything it is worth a little more than what it brings on eBay.
I agree about the rear fender, I just posted it because I thought it was a neat peace of history and it was in such good shape. I love the paint color and scheme, I like others could never get past the fender.
