Does anyone have any thoughts on how to hook up a 2 way switch, then you could have a lower output beam for daylight and them full brightness for night?

They look like just a standard bulb so probably no big deal to just run them full bright all the time I guess.

I will have to trim my shield to get them where I need them. I also hope that they don't "drown out" my turn signals at night. I believe that in PA there is actually a law that these type of lights only come on with the high beam...not sure though.

I took the simplest way out...tapped into the accessory plug under the seat. It is fused (middle row, last one on bottom) so no need to do anything but splice in.

Ran the wire under the tank and good to go. I aimed them slightly outward. Hopefully able to catch the deer in my sights..will have to fine tune when it gets darker out.

Had to trim my shield a bit, but I've done so much cutting and trimming on it that it doesn't bother me to hack away at it.

Not cool looking like the Thug bikes with no signals, but I actually ride more at nigh than the day so I guess I went for form over looks...but it doesn't look too bad to me.

The turn signals are far enough that they don't get drowned out:

Didn't it come with spacers for 41 and 49mm forks?

Inserts for 43 and 49.

Maybe you can use some black pvc and cut your own.

These lights did make a difference in my night rides...37 miles one way.

I would like to aim them just a little more outwards but they do make a noticeable improvement and for $80 are a great deal!

The high beam (I have the higher watt Sylvania and difusser removed) will still shine farther out, but with these lights, you have a wider path of view.

I have them tied into the accessory plug under the seat...this way, if I were to loose the headlight, I'd still have the driving lights.
