I picked up a Screaming Eagle Springer over the winter with the intention of selling the Sportster and having the Springer to ride around on. I rode the Springer for a while and I love riding it but I can't bring myself to take it on long weekend trips and week long vacations leaving it sit out and get rained on, so right now its a day trip cruiser and I'm still riding the Sportster for daily driver and overnight trips. My dad is on the board of directors at a credit union and he said there's a 2002 Dyna that just got re-possesed that he can get real cheap. He doesn't know anything about the bike yet, he's going to look at it and has to make the decision on the spot if he wants it or not. I told him if the price is right to go for it and just write the check. (I'm in the Army away from home right now, he has access to my checking account) The bike is probably trashed and I'm getting my hopes up for nothing, but I should find out by tonight sometime. I told him even if the bike is kinda rough to go for it, I can always get it painted pretty cheap and clean it up a bit. Hopefully it all works out, after riding the Springer for a while the Sportster seems like it's getting smaller every time I ride it. I'll let you know what happens with it. - Jules

I'm a Military Policeman. I've been doing a lot more of the Military than the Police though, I'm hardly even in an actual patrol car. lol.
