suspension. slammer?

Everybody (progressive, works, halgon, etc.) makes shorter and better shocks if that is your goal. Of course, any of them suck if you actually plan to ride over bumps in the road because there's not enough suspension travel.
I went the other way and went an inch over stock and like it. Improved cornering and I can ride over bumps without concern.

You have to ask yourself a question or two first. Do I want my bike to handle great, and be comfortable...or...do I want my bike to look all cool and slammed, but ride like ****, and not be able to lean the bike more than 10ş without scraping something?
If you want your bike to handle great, then forget about the Burleys or slamming anything. Buy some quality shock absorbers like Ohlins, JRI, Works, etc.
If you want option B, then buy the Burleys.
