I'm in the market for a new Dyna and while trying to trying to decide between a Wide Glide and a Low Rider I saw something else. The dealer pointed out a 2012 Fat Bob that is just beautiful. It has 300mi on it and has the bars and risers changed to a set of T-Bars. It even still has the inspection stickers on it. So what differences are there in a 2012 and the later models? It is out of warranty but that can be worked out I think. I really like this bike and now I'm more confused than ever. What say ye? Any Fat Bob owners out there? Thanks
2012 and 13 are roughly the same. 14 Is when they changed the fender and blacked out some more pieces. I love my fat bob it's just a blast to ride and can't recommend them enough.
I just bought a 2014 Wide Glide after contemplating over the FatBob and Street Glide. Ultimately the Wide Glide has the look I want and the 2014 FatBob paint scemes dont do it for me especially being they killed the Standard Black theme. I actually like the dual headlight and better brakes on the Fatbob and I am sure it handles much better than the wide glide.

Truly a joy to ride, ride it and you will see.............
No difference between the 12 and 13, and some subtle changes with the 14.
Picked mine up last year. '13 FXDF. First Harley. I wish I had done it sooner. Love this bike. Probably the most fun I've ever had on 2 wheels and I've ridden quite a few bikes! Handles great. Accelerates phenomenally. I test rode 3 other Dyna's and this was the one for me. Go test ride it! You won't regret it....unless you don't really want to spend the money! Haha
in 2011 test rode the two dyna's i was interesting in buying. the wide glide and the fatbob. IMHO the fatbob handled so much better on uneven road surfaces and the braking performance and the dual headlight setup is far superior over the glide. that made up my mine. drive both and u will see the difference.
