So; pretty satisfied with my Fat Bob these days; a little better for touring than the FXDXT was...but lacking a bit in the suspension department, even at my now slower speeds. What's the verdict on pre-load adjusters? Big difference? Had some serious dive when "panic" braking on the road...new springs and/or pre-load adjusters? Heavier oil? Too much improvement in the front will make the back seem even worse; put some 430's on the wife's Low Rider and you can especially appreciate the improved rebound performance; may have to find a pair for my Fat Bob...don't want anything too exotic in price or appearance; it just really is "Fat" compared to my T-Sport...
Those preload adjusters don't do anything but help you set your sag. You need to add the Intiminators and the Traxxion springs or something similar to improve your front end.
