I know it's probably super easy but how do I remove the female thread that holds my seat to the rear fender. I got a new seat and need to relocate the threads since I'm going from 2 up to solo
Pop that 'E' clip and it will drop down onto the tire, Installs easier with a long zip tie through it and up n out the hole. At least on a touring model.

Yup, the E clip, or circlip, comes right off and then the female part just drops down through the hole. The clip usually comes off so easily that you can do it with your fingernail.
The easiest way to replace it is to fish a string or piece of wire down through the hole, then put the string through the hole in the nut, tie a washer or anything similar to the bottom of the thread or wire so the nut doesn't fall off, and then just pull it back up through the hole, and put the clip back on.
That is exactly what I am doing .do you know how to do it?
At least three guys already told you above. there is a small plastic C-clip holding ametal plug. push the c-clip back the metal plug falls, or you could get your hand in thtere and catch it, maybe, pass it through the desired hole with a long ty-wrap and re-clip it. Two minutes max.
On the other hand if you want to switch back and forth just buy a new one for 5$ or less and have both.
