Default 07-09 street bobs- differences

Hey street bob owners/aficionados...... I am looking at purchasing a 2007-2009 and am looking at a street bob... Any differences in the models or any special things to look out for when I purchase?

07 best year IMO. I may be biased though. 07&08 are really same I think except for a few things that are chrome on one and not the other. As for 09. First year for sausage taillight, chopped rear fender, and integrated risers in top clamp. Only year for black and silver motor combo. Not sure which year started adding info in odometer like gear indicator ,rpm, and miles to empty. Hope this helps.

+1 on 07 as the best year
07 has the better 1" double row wheel bearings vs 08 later 25mm singel row wheel bearings. There are few More things I can't think of off the top of my head

I stand corrected 08 first year w/ integrated risers. I will say I hated silver engine on 09 when it first came out but I kinda dig it now. Throw on some black here and there and it pops. New bobs engines look like they used whatever was laying around. Really disappointed. But main differences between years listed were mainly cosmetic. Can't go wrong with black cherry.
