I'm looking into getting this seat for my WG....For those who have it, how much of a lower profile is it vs. your stock seat....meaning how much lower would you say you sit "into" the bike. OP, sorry for the kinda hijack
I have the barebones and found it to be more comfortable than stock. The stock seat just didn't fit my *** and was complete torture on anything I've 10 miles. I've rode my barebones for over 300 and would have no problem going further. I'm not saying it was super comfy but very doable. Some seats just fit the rider different.
As far as profile, there was a significant difference in height & seat width. For/aft seemed to be about the same, maybe it moves you back just a bit. I actually have profile pictures, but just not with me. Possible someone else did the before/after.
I sit like 2 " lower and 2" further back. Works just fine seat wise. But seeing as how I am short I need mids now. Trade anyone my forwards for their mids?

+1 on the biker gel still a **** ride. But better than the regular le pera with no gel. Look on ebay. I got my gel barebones for like 120 shipped great condition
ok, just ordered one off amazon for $140 shipped
no gel. I've read both things about gel, its too hard or its great.
The only thing I'm worried about is my handlebar reach. I have it set with the stock seat just right. If this sits me down and back then the reach may feel too far and I'll hate it. But I'm a big amazon shopper and one reason is no hassle returns on everything.

Ugh. I actually ordered the non-gel already I guess I could always sell it and get the gel if I end up needing it...they are cheap enough. I got the one I ordered off of Ebay new, for $158 shipped.
