I have been thinking of putting a sissy bar on mine as well, i like the look of the bar but not really liking the pracket with the bar, looks a little mix matched.

I agree with clayman - the sissy bar looks awesome, and i've been thinking of getting one, I'm just not fond of the brackets that hold the bar in place. Thanks for the CV website. Also, really diggin the gimps. I wish I had put those on instead of the apes I got.

clayman / dmoore - I have to agree. I am not really fond of the sideplates either. I already had them, that I used when I put the HD sissybar on for when the g/f rides. I am looking into somthing different (if I ever get some spare time).

mdog- The sideplates are the HD detachables. I think the sideplates are $139. The sissybar was (if think) $129 shipped.

Ive been looking also and havnt found anything different either. I sure do like the look of that sissy bar though, youve motivated me to get mine done. Not to mention the fact that it looks good but it will also be a great place to attach all my gear for this summers adventures.

Yea, I just bought the Kuryakyn Full Dresser bag. I thought it would be better that just putting stuff where I can like I did on the road trips with the shovel. I'm getting older and more organized. lol

The bag looks like it will work out pretty good.
