There is a well known......as in used by the big builders....place here in Nashville called ChromeMasters........they will do my gold 03' wheels like that but want something like +/-$500/wheel and a 4-6 week wait.
I have seen them offered online for prices ranging from $300 and up.
They really look nice, and like a completely different wheel.
I saw a set of those chromed at the local HD dealer, nice.
I am amazed how nice Mothers polish has brought the shine out on my stockers, but certainly not that nice.
I love the new controls. Much more so than I had anticipated, being as I had never rode with forwards before. I'm 6'7", so these bad boys were a must for me.
No scrapeage for me , but I'm not one to go into my turns leaning like the tower of pisa either. I had a crotch rocket for that kind of riding. Now I'm more of a go fast and straight kind of guy.
They look nice as hell too. Way better look than the stock mids.
You're a tall bastard. talk about looking dumb on a bike, My girlfriend was following me and told me that my knees were in my armpits. I'm only 6'1" Mid controls must have been a nightmare for you. I'm starting to get accustomed to mine... New kury's getting picked up on payday. Used to ride around on an R6. ***** magnet for sure but my superglide is awesome, right fit at this point in my life.
Those look really good!! Been thinking about the same thing. I found a place or two that will do it, some will even send you new ones first (you pay like a $500 refundable core charge). Like a few other replies, where'd you get it done and what was the price??
