Default Tank Console Assembly Trim Help

Ok sorry I've been posting some thread getting some advice on my 99 FXDX project. This should be my last thread I promise lol. So originally I wanted to just replace the whole thing however it is an obsolete part by HD. I've looked everywhere and just can't find it. So I just decided to spray it since it wasn't bad however the trim that goes around it was completely worn and break off in pieces. With it being obsolete I can't replace the trim, does anyone have any suggestions for the best solution?

JP has this: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/7300155

If all else fails you could try some door edge trim, it's available at most autoparts stores.

Yea that trim on JP says it doesn't fit my bike (don't know how true that is with just trim) but might just try that trim from autozone or something.

You can use any trim. Warming it up a little to make it more pliable and some silicon glue to helps to hold it in place.

You said you tried everywhere. Did you try EBay? I have a 2004 and already get the "parts are obsolete" answer. I wanted to get a Wide Glide rear hub, answer obsolete. I could get the whole wheel but not the hub.

Yea I've tried Ebay as well and nothing for my year. That's comforting that you already get that because I really wanted a 2005 when I was looking for a FXDX a couple months ago but besides my 99 there was a couple 01 I came across but for the price/mileage/mods I decided on my 99. Will just use a trim and make the best of it.
