I am the new owner of the bike the Greg (2007fxdc) did, a real beauty! He is 5 inckes taller than I am and has installed Kur. extended forward controls. I need standard. Any potential takers for the extended controls or any one want to swap? Any other suggestions?
Don't forget to take photos of the extended forward controls and list them on eBay. If the parts are in decent shape, and the price is a good one, things sell very fast on eBay.
Will do thanks. Anyone buy anything from Hill County Customs on E Bay, they have some good prices on ss cable and brake line kits as well as full chrome hand controls. So before I moved forward I thought I would ask.
FYI, you guys can search old threads to find out exactly when I put the extended forwards on the bike but it hasn't been that long ago and since my riding time has been extremely limited over the past year, they have very few miles on them and are basically like new.
Phil, you shouldn't have to go to ebay with the old ones. Post them up for sale in the dyna classifieds here and someone will surely scoop them up pretty quick.
My opinion on the offer for the black HD forwards - I don't think they'll compliment the bike at all with all of the chrome on it. Will stick out like an ugly sore thumb - just my 2 cents.
As for mids, guys, he isn't interested in mids. He is actually tall enough to ride the bike with the extendeds, it was just a little stretch so standard forwards should be a perfect fit for him. And, aside from the brake linkage rod from the stock mids, he has everything else that came with the bike as far as mids go.
