I purchased these springs thinking bigger was better and that is not the case. Turned out to be too much spring pressure for the cam I am using. The springs have less then 200 miles on them. I was very careful about removing the seals and believe they are in good shape. The machinist that did my heads and installed the springs used a couple of shims and I will include them just in case. Unfortunately I did lose (2) of the spring retaining clips - that will set you back about $1.00 each at you local HD Dealership. If I would have remembered I would have picked up a couple last time I was at the dealership - I probably still could if not having them was a deal breaker.
